2nd Monsay High Cup Golf Tournament
The 2nd Monsay High Cup Golf Tournament last 25 April 2008 in Club Intramuros was a success. The event was sponsored by Pilipinas Golf Bag Manufacturing, Pacsport, Nike One Golf Balls, Eng Bee Tin Chinese Deli (maker of the famous hopia), South Point Driving Range, Link Energie Construction Inc., Link Energie Industires Co., Inc., Crismayne Computers, Neotec-Tylid Pharmaceuticals, MPro Construction Corporation, and RMHS 1983 alumnni namely: Ronald Martinez (New Zealand), Manny Dacio (South Africa), Ding and Len Mercado (Canada), RMHS 1983 Canada Chapter (Emily Banania, Jo Tecson, Rufina Balboa, Boyet Balmeo, George Gicale, Marilyn Isla, Noel Torres, Ferdinand Arellano and Arman Soriano), RMHS 1983 North America Chapter (Rita Benigno-Fader, Emily Aquino-Jalmasco, Cecile Cristobal-Farrar, Melissa Sandal-Manlucu, Florida Daluz-Hendricks, Cezar Echano, Rudy Roque, Noel Peralta, Leonard Lamug, Maria Socorro Legaspi-Suniga) , Elvie Gesmundo of Herbalife, and Reuel I. Obar of Motorola. This tournament was held for the benefit of the visually impaired students of RMHS.
Players from USAID, Meralco, SMART Communications, Link Energie, SAP Philippines, EMC, Motorola and walk-ins participated in the tournament.
The list of winners will be emailed by Ihmee.
The organizing team present during the Friday event were Alan Cabelin (tournament director), Poly Teodoro, Mitch Salvacion-Alcantara , Imelda Reyes, Daisy Asuncion-Abelon, Egay Hilario, Minerva Ileto-Catotocan and Rio Obar. Let's congratulate Alan for 2 reasons: the success of this event and his new job with a multinational pharmaceutical company that carries the Bausch&Lomb brand. He still managed to switch back and forth between preparing for this tournmanet and preparing for his new job. Akala namin hindi na nga siya makararating sa araw ng tournament mismo subalit nakasama pa rin namin siya the whole time! Thank you Poly for driving all the way from Pampanga to Club Intramuros (and back to Pampanga after the event) to be with us! Poly has been diligently helping Alan organize this event. BTW, he and his wife is celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary this week! Best Wishes! Many thanks also to Mitch, Ihmee, Daisy, Egay, Minervs, Kaloi and Joel Soriano for their help in organizing this event, especially to Mitch, Ihmee and Daisy who took the day off from work and schooling last Friday to help. Mitch, maraming salamat sa paghahabol sa mga sponsors and logistics. Congratulations to Minervs! She finished her masteral program in UP and graduated last Friday.
We believe we made humble profit from this event. We will make a final report after we received all the cash donations from the sponsors and all expenses accounted for.

We can now set our sight towards our Silver Anniversary Homecoming in 08 November 2008! Please watch out for the announcement soon. Hope we can get more volunteers and participants to our homecoming in November. Ilang buwan na lang.

I've been thinking about starting my own web blogsite but can't think anything interesting to write about - me.
Why not write about rmhs1983? YES!
That's the reason this web blogsite was born.
The Ramon Magsaysay High School (España, Manila) Batch 1983 is celebrating its Silver Anniversary on 08 November 2008. Ideas about the Grand Alumni Homecoming has been talked about since 2003 when we staged our 20th Anniversary Class Reunion held in Quezon City Sports Club.
